ABOUT JOSHUE ASHBY & C3 PROJECT
Violinist – Educator – Social Activist

Joshue Ashby has been powerfully moving audiences as an artist with a distinctly Latin American and Panamanian voice, forging ground at the intersections of Jazz, Funk and Afro Caribbean music.

Joshue Ashby & C3 Project´s mission is to perform a show, which causes happiness, motivation and enthusiasm to the audience. The mix of their instruments and vocals on creates a unique sound, as big as a big band.

In 1996, we recorded ¨La Rosa de Los Vientos´s Album, with Panamanians musicians and producers, and I had to go to New York to hire an Irish violinist who could play Latin music. Now, I see Joshue… from Colón!! We don´t have to go so far any more to find ¨National Talented Musician¨
Rubén Blades!

¨The first time I heard Joshue Ashby, he was playing the violin like he was born to play the violin. He is my hero¨

We had there, 13 pandillas, wich is ¨gans¨, and taking the kids out of the streets was very hard, and this specific ¨kid¨ that enter the school of Danilo Pérez and now is a very, very successful guy.
