Travel with NYJA and enjoy a carefully curated experience at the Panama Jazz Festival. Each day, events will be hand-picked to maximize your experience while you immerse yourself in Panamanian culture, language, and history, all while experiencing one of the greatest jazz festivals in the world.
Each day, the festival acts change, so no single day is the same. Below is a sample hour-by-hour tour day:
10am leave hotel
11am enjoy and participate in workshops and performances presented by Berklee, New England Conservatory, and New York Jazz Academy, in addition to workshops given by Panamanian artists
2pm lunch break
4pm festival concerts, with the 2017 festival featuring, among others, the following acts:

We recommend that you stay near the Panama Jazz Festival, at the City of Knowledge, which will give you easy access (walking distance) to many festival activities, while also positioning you close to cultural highlights, including Miraflores Locks/Panama Canal.
If you are interested in taking a break from the festival, we can also recommend alternate outings, giving you the opportunity to experience the art, culture, and history of Panama.
